Clowes, Daniel
Daniel Clowes was born in Chicago, Il. on April 14, 1961. He attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY from which he graduated with a BFA degree in 1984. He is the creator of the seminal comic book series Eightball, which spawned the graphic novels Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron, Pussey!, Ghost World, David Boring, Caricature, and The Death Ray. He has also created the graphic novels Ice Haven, Wilson, and Patience, among a wide variety of other work.
